Letter from the President

Dear Friends,

The theme of this edition of Frontlines is “hope is being multiplied.” At a time when so much of what we hear in the media is negative, this is truly good news! It is true that the global landscape is full of challenges, particularly for the poor. But, in the midst of the suffering, God is at work accomplishing His purposes.

Consider the nation of Uganda that endured another economic lockdown through the summer months. Through our in-country partner and network of churches serving poor children and families, 3,375 families received Food Paks and emergency food in recent weeks. Hope was multiplied in a part of the world where hope is so desperately needed! The same is true in other parts of the world where CHF operates. It is through your generous support that we are able to deliver the hope of the gospel through our Food Pak program and disaster response efforts.

As you read this edition of Frontlines and learn more how hope is being multiplied through your generosity, I hope you are encouraged. But I also hope that you will continue to extend your generosity through your faithful support of CHF! The demand for our program services continues to grow as the global effects of Covid introduce more and more children to the realities of extreme poverty. But be encouraged; God’s church is there as well! Gospel-centered churches are committed to delivering the hope of the gospel to children in crisis!
