The vision of Children’s Hunger Fund is to deliver food and share the hope of the gospel to more impoverished children across the United States and around the world.

We plan to build an 85,000-square-foot Volunteer Center in the Town of Prosper by 2026. This facility will serve many southern and midwestern states, some of which have the highest poverty rates in the US. It will allow us to better engage the growing community in serving those in need.

With your help, this facility will allow us to:

  • Provide 5 million meals to children and families in need in North Texas each year
  • Distribute more than 100 million meals to suffering children around the world annually
  • Serve children and families in need on a more local basis
  • Educate the next generation to respond in compassion and service as they learn about the complexities of global poverty

This facility will also serve as a regional distribution hub, distributing food and other resources to our partners nationwide and in over 30 countries.

Since 1991, more than 380 million children across America and in over 30 countries have been served by CHF and our faithful partners.

The facility will include:

Our vision is to create a comprehensive volunteer experience for churches, schools, corporations, and the greater community. This temperature-controlled volunteer space will be used for Food Pak assembly and bagging of food items. We anticipate welcoming over 35,000 volunteers per year.

Poverty Encounter is a transformative, interactive experience designed to open eyes to the realities of children living in extreme poverty around the globe. Guests of all ages will step into the lives of these children, hear their struggles, and learn how they can take action to deliver hope to children in need. Each experience will conclude with a volunteer activity and other opportunities to serve children living in poverty and the local church. We anticipate growing to receive 65,000 guests annually.

In addition to office space for CHF staff, this facility will welcome local pastors and church leaders from across the US. The goal will be to help them better understand poverty in their communities and to provide biblical training on how to use every Food Pak as a tool to share the hope of the gospel with families in need. The facility will also host corporations and local businesses for service days and meeting space.

With our goal to reach churches in the South and Midwest through the Town of Prosper facility, this location will be able to distribute Food Paks to hundreds of additional local churches across several states. In addition to Food Paks, this space will also be used to process other resources needed by families in poverty both in the US and internationally.
