When Natalia was just six years old, she and her family were in a car accident that claimed the life of her father. Though Natalia, her sister, and their mother walked away from the accident, their lives were changed forever. After the accident, Natalia’s family went to live with her grandparents in California.

The family was emotionally and spiritually broken, and Natalia and her sister spent many years taking medication to ease their depression and anxiety. Not only are they trying to make ends meet for Natalia and her family, but also for her aunt’s family who live with their grandparents as well.
