Never Too Remote for the Love of God: How God’s Love Reached Sati’s Village Through Gospel-Centered Mercy Ministry
In a village so isolated it might seem too remote for the love of God, eleven-year-old Sati dreams of becoming a dancer—or possibly a singer—as she helps her mother and cares for her younger brothers in rural southern Nepal. With no formal education and no steady income, her parents struggle to provide daily meals, until Pastor Dal Bahadur Gurung from Nepal Grace Church begins making the long weekly journey by tuk-tuk, bringing Food Paks and delivering hope to suffering children by equipping local churches for gospel-centered mercy ministry. Through these visits, Sati and her mother not only receive food but also discover that they are seen and loved by God, finding a welcoming church family and the message of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
