In this latest Letter from the President, we invite you to look back with us on 30 years of ministry at Children’s Hunger Fund and to look forward with expectancy to what God will do next through this gospel-centered mercy ministry. As we reflect on God’s faithfulness, we rejoice that He has used friends like you as His instruments to deliver hope to suffering children, “the least of these,” in our own neighborhoods and around the world. Life and ministry at CHF have never been about performance or popularity, but about relationships—your compassionate partnership, local churches equipped for mercy ministry, and children who are hearing and seeing the love of Christ in tangible ways. Thank you for standing with us for three decades and for considering a generous gift that will help us impact thousands of lives in the weeks ahead.

At Children’s Hunger Fund, this Letter from the President is a reminder that even in a global landscape full of challenges, hope is being multiplied for suffering children and families. Through our Food Pak program, emergency food distribution, and a network of gospel-centered churches in places like Uganda, we are delivering the hope of the gospel where it is so desperately needed. Because of your generous support, thousands of families experiencing the effects of Covid and extreme poverty are receiving Food Paks, and with each visit, the hope of Christ is shared in both word and deed. As you read this edition of Frontlines, we pray you are encouraged and that you will continue to stand with us so hope can be multiplied to even more children in crisis.

In this Letter from the President of Children’s Hunger Fund, we share how our mission goes far beyond that of a traditional food bank. Through our global Food Pak program and other outreach, God has allowed us to help provide the basis for over 140 million meals while equipping gospel-centered churches to deliver more than just food—they are delivering the hope of the gospel to suffering children and families in their own homes. As poverty robs children of hope, local churches are restoring hope through relational home delivery and faithful proclamation of Christ, especially during challenging summer months when many children living below the poverty line have limited access to food and other resources.
