On March 31st, 2016, we opened our first facility in DFW. As we reflect on this milestone, we recognize that it would not have been possible without the faithful support of our volunteers. Your dedication, service, and compassion have been at the heart of our work for these past 10 years, helping us bring hope and care to those we serve. Thank you for being such an important part of our ministry.
Prosper Progress
On May 2, 2025, we broke ground on our new building in Prosper, Texas. The day was especially rainy, but our team embraced the moment and affectionately nicknamed the construction site “Hope Lake.”
Since then, remarkable progress has been made. What was once “Hope Lake” has transformed into the structure you see below. Insulation and walls are being installed throughout the facility, trees are being planted, air ducts are going in, and many other exciting developments are taking shape. It is inspiring to see this vision become a reality.

Our volunteer program is growing at an exceptional rate because of people like you! Between April and July, 3,670 incredible volunteers served at Children’s Hunger Fund, and we could not be more grateful.
We want to thank every individual, family, neighbor, corporation, school, church, nonprofit organization, service club, and small business that dedicated their time and energy to serving alongside us during these past four months.
Because of your generosity and commitment, we can continue fulfilling our mission of delivering hope to suffering children by equipping local churches for gospel-centered mercy ministry. Your service is making a lasting impact on the lives of children and families both here and around the world.

How you can get involved
Our team is just 10 people, and as we prepare to welcome 50,000 visitors each year, we need a new kind of volunteer: Leaders.
We’re building a Volunteer Leadership Team (VLT), a group of trained, committed volunteers who will help lead volunteers, serve guests, and expand our impact through humility, servanthood, and a kingdom mindset.
