Pieter

Pieter is the third of five children and the only boy in his family. He lives with his mother, four sisters, and his adult cousin and her baby in the rural village of Xigalo, South Africa.

Pieter’s mother is a refugee from Mozambique and, as a result, does not have a South African birth certificate. Without this, Pieter’s mother cannot get a job that will support the family, leaving her unable to afford necessities to care for her children—necessities like food.

By filling a Virtual Food Pak, a local church can bring food and the message of the gospel to families in need like Pieter’s.
