As a company, we want to close that stereotype that a bank—a big corporation—is not willing to help. Because we are. We’re rolling up our sleeves. We’re here together. Not only do we work together, but now we get to see our families together. We get to interact with each other. To talk about just life after these two years of lockdown where everybody was just so scared to interact with everyone.
The most impactful thing about volunteering at Children’s Hunger Fund for me is just knowing that I’m making a difference. I’m one person and I come two hours a week or as much as I can, but I know that that’s making a difference for children.
I volunteer at Children’s Hunger Fund because I believe in the mission. I believe that in order to truly change lives, you have to build relationships with people. And that’s what this is, this place is all about—this is what they do.
