I choose to give to CHF because they look first at supplying physical needs, then spiritual needs. I’m not rich, but compared to much of the world, I know that I am rich. I don’t worry about how I’ll get my next meal. CHF meets that need first. ‘For I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat.’ (Matthew 25:36). CHF shows love and compassion for the whole family. That care opens hearts for Jesus. Reading about the difference CHF makes in the lives of so many families all over the world makes me know that, in my small way, I’m helping in this ministry.

I look forward to seeing the videos at the end, letting you know how what you did impacted others. It is just a great feeling to leave at the end of the day.

As a company, we want to close that stereotype that a bank—a big corporation—is not willing to help. Because we are. We’re rolling up our sleeves. We’re here together. Not only do we work together, but now we get to see our families together. We get to interact with each other. To talk about just life after these two years of lockdown where everybody was just so scared to interact with everyone.

I volunteer at Children’s Hunger Fund because I believe in the mission. I believe that in order to truly change lives, you have to build relationships with people. And that’s what this is, this place is all about—this is what they do.

The most impactful thing about volunteering at Children’s Hunger Fund for me is just knowing that I’m making a difference. I’m one person and I come two hours a week or as much as I can, but I know that that’s making a difference for children.
