Ayush

In the foothills of Nepal, ten-year-old Ayush sits on a short wall of stones in the middle of what remains of his home. A few months ago, a fire destroyed his family’s home. While Ayush and his parents and siblings made it out safely, their home and all their belongings were completely consumed by the fire.

Ayush’s parents suddenly had no home and no way to feed their children. They had nothing to wear apart from the clothes on their backs. After the fire destroyed their home, no one from their community came to offer assistance, nor did they receive support from their family.

When a pastor from a local church arrives at Ayush’s home with a gift of food and the message of the gospel, hope in Jesus can be found despite his desperate situation.
