If you missed any of the previous weeks, check out the blocks below for details on the weekly challenge.

Week 1
Prioritize the Gospel
We declare the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ as our first priority. It is the only source of true hope, the ultimate remedy for mankind’s suffering, and the power of God to those who are being saved. Therefore, we unite our God-given gifts and resources for gospel proclamation.
Challenge:
Share one of the devotionals written by members of our CHF staff with a friend or family member.
We’re so glad you’re here and joining us for this 35-day generosity challenge!
This week, we’re focusing on the ultimate truth that changes everything about the way we live our lives—the gospel! As we remember to prioritize the gospel this week, we encourage you to invite someone else to join you on this journey.

Week 2
Elevate the Church
The church was divinely established and its existence uniquely guaranteed by God as His representative of the gospel in word and deed. Therefore, we elevate and esteem churches dedicated to the gospel by equipping and providing resources to help them proclaim this message to the world.
Challenge:
Encourage your pastor or church leader.
Here are a few ideas to get you started:
  • Pray for a ministry leader or volunteer team.
  • Write your pastor a short email or thank-you card.
  • Share a word of encouragement after Sunday service.
  • Serve in an area of need at your church.

Week 3
Impact the Next Generation
Children are made in God’s image, and He commands us to nurture and instruct them in His Word. Therefore, we impact the next generation for Christ so that one day they would be restored as “children of God” through the power of the gospel.
Challenge:
Visit Poverty Encounter (either in person or virtually) and help a child understand the realities of poverty from a Christ-centered perspective.
Here are some ways you can make a difference:
Every moment spent learning, every prayer, and every Food Pak delivered helps raise a new generation rooted in compassion and truth.

Week 4
Pursue Relationships
The most effective way to serve the needs of others is through ongoing personal relationships. Therefore, we prayerfully pursue relationships with those we serve and those who help us accomplish our mission so that our actions might be used by God to transform lives.
Challenge:
Make a connection!

It doesn’t have to be big; it just has to be genuine.
Here are a few simple ideas:
  • Call an old friend and pray with them.
  • Introduce yourself to someone new at church.
  • Say hello to a neighbor—and maybe bring a plate of cookies!
  • Or create your own idea. Small acts can open big doors.
Co-founder Lynn Phillips has even graciously offered to share her favorite cookie recipe as a sweet way to spark community.

Week 5
Strive for Integrity
We recognize that we are ultimately accountable to God for the stewardship of the resources He has entrusted to us. Therefore, we strive to fulfill our mission with integrity before God and conduct ourselves in such a way that enables others to trust our work with confidence.
Challenge:
Put your love into action in a meaningful way.
There are so many ways for you to put your generosity and love into action. Here are a few suggestions to get you started:
  • Volunteer at CHF and pack Food Paks
  • Serve at a soup kitchen or community meal
  • Help your local homeless ministry
  • Clean up a neighborhood or park
Whatever you choose, let it be a reflection of God’s truth and generosity working through you.
