Poverty Encounter is an educational and immersive experience that will open your friends’ and family’s eyes to the realities of children living in poverty. Each tour ends with a service activity that will allow you to make an impact in the lives of children in need, just like the ones you will learn about. Poverty Encounter is a great opportunity to engage your friends and family in conversation about serving others in need, and give them a practical way to make a difference.

Poverty Encounter can accommodate any size group*, so you can bring everyone with you! This tour is appropriate for all ages. Invite your friends and family today to hear the stories of four children who are facing poverty, and to learn how you can help those in need.
*Groups of more than 15 may be broken up into smaller groups of approximately 15 people per tour guide.
