We are so thankful for your friendship and your support.
I am so grateful for the ability to continue, year after year, to bring hope to suffering children around the world. Your support and God’s unfailing faithfulness make this possible, and it gives me hope for the future of the ministry of Children’s Hunger Fund (CHF).
God continues to do incredible things through the pastors and volunteers we partner with worldwide. I know my understanding of mercy continues to grow, and I invite you to join us as we look to the future of the ministry.
This invitation is open to you, whether you joined us at the 2024 Children’s Hunger Fund President’s Retreat or not. You can deliver hope to children in need across the US and around the world.
Thank you for your desire to make a difference.
For the children we serve,

Dave Phillips
Founder & President

Children’s Hunger Fund distributes aid through three locations in the US—Dallas, San Antonio, and our headquarters in Los Angeles—and through over a thousand local church partners in 32 countries worldwide. We also work with like-minded partners across the US to resource over 3,500 additional local churches with donated food and goods.
Because of friends like you, CHF has been able to help local churches share the hope of the gospel to children and families in need for more than thirty years. Since 1991, 96% of total contributions have supported programs that serve suffering children and families—over 700 million meals have been distributed.
We know that God’s plans are much bigger than our own, and we invite you to be a part of God’s plan for the ministry of Children’s Hunger Fund.

Children’s Hunger Fund now has trained networks of partner churches in 32 developing countries. Each one focuses on identifying families living in extreme poverty (income of less than $2.15 per day) and seeking to build trusting relationships with them through the home delivery of Food Paks.
We need your financial help in sustaining these global programs and to help offset the cost of training, mentoring, and resourcing these church networks. The funding we receive to help us increase our global impact will be used to help fulfill our global commitments to our Mercy Network churches and fund our budgetary needs related to our global programs and projects.
Children’s Hunger Fund is in year four of a ten-year growth initiative to expand our reach across the United States. We have experienced phenomenal growth in the past four years, serving hundreds of churches with Food Paks every month.
Our greatest financial need is to support the national reach objectives in our operating budget. This includes expenses related to our national Food Pak program and Mercy Network of partner churches; costs related to our volunteer services, Poverty Encounter exhibit, and national Gift-in-Kind program; and funding to increase the size of our national Food Pak distribution network by 25% over the next twelve months.

Every year, unanticipated economic, political, and natural factors influence where CHF invests its time and resources to make the biggest impact.
Your gift can be used for special projects and areas of greatest need within the organization. In each case, our Executive Team works closely with our Accounting Department and Board of Directors to assess areas of need and where our available funds can make the greatest impact.

As a young man, the devastating poverty Dave witnessed at a children’s hospital in Honduras changed him forever. With a united passion to impact the next generation and help local churches build relationships with poor children in their communities, Dave and his wife, Lynn, founded Children’s Hunger Fund (CHF).

After helping her husband, Dave, establish Children’s Hunger Fund, Lynn transitioned from her job as a public teacher to homeschool their four sons. Lynn has always had a heart for children, and her desire to educate the next generation on a biblical response to global poverty led to her role as a Poverty Encounter facilitator. She now serves CHF as a Relationship Development Ambassador.

For twenty-five years, Michael has served at Children’s Hunger Fund in various ways, from overseeing volunteer operations and international logistics to opening the San Antonio and Dallas offices. As Senior Vice President, Michael’s primary responsibility is cultivating relationships with supporters, which includes leading our Ambassador program, Visions Trips, and the growth of our Children’s Hunger Fund Legacy Foundation.

The Lord directed Mario’s vocational efforts to join the ministry of CHF in 2012. Combining his business training with his passion for the gospel, God has allowed Mario to equip churches worldwide towards a gospel-centered mercy ministry.
