Join Nikkei Credit Union & Children’s Hunger Fund to send rebuilding aid to the survivors of the devastating typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines.

Typhoon Haiyan created havoc in the Philippines in early November, 2013. To date, 5,795 fatalities have been reported with over $2.4 billion in property damage. It was one of the largest typhoons ever to make landfall.

Now, the survivors work to rebuild their lives. “Back to normal” is something that will not happen soon for most residents whose lives have been turned upside down by this natural disaster.

Children’s Hunger Fund was a part of the immediate relief efforts after the Philippines Typhoon struck, and continues to resource local churches in the ongoing rebuilding. We continue in our own efforts as well as partnerning with other organizations to best facilitate rebuilding.

Nikkei Credit Union and Children’s Hunger Fund have joined together to provide rebuilding aid to families in the most devastated areas.

Four large sea containers are planned to ship out in the coming weeks. Each container is packed with nutritious meals, protein-rich bulk food and other vital necessities to those families still in need.

Each container costs $8,000 to fill and ship and provides over 200,000 meals to thousands of Filipino families. Your gift today will bring hope and practical help to the people of the Philippines. Can we count on your donation ?
